King Edward Kitchen Remodel

Surfaces
An open and airy space was just what our client needed and wanted for her kitchen remodel. (Before pics below) We made a lot of intentional changes to the space including removing the soffits and not building cabinets all the way around the kitchen. She also had her entire first story floor replaced with this beautiful wood look flooring.

Cabinets
A detail requested by the client was to have her new pantry doors match her cabinets. This clever idea created more continuity from kitchen to dining area.

Flooring

One thing our client was very intent on was light. She had been tired of how dark the kitchen was prior. Not only did we install multiple lights in the ceiling and under the cabinets, we chose a light color palette to keep the “open and airy” feel. She even requested that the scrap pieces from her countertops be used as the pony wall topper in her bathroom remodel (see related projects).

  • The kitchen was original to the home and was in dire need of updating. Not only did we update the space but also made it larger by cutting back the counter area that sticks out but the soffit around the entire kitchen as well. The wiring and plumbing were rerouted, and the appliances fit perfectly.

Our client Jackie was kind enough to let us film her newly finished remodel and talked us through the changes, the process and even her experience with our contractors.
