The Shaw Company Remodeling Process
From initial contact to enjoying your newly remodeled home, we guide you through every step
First Contact
When you call or email Shaw Co Remodeling, we will schedule you with one of our construction expert Project Consultants for a free home walk-through. We will verify that you live in our service areas (view service areas) before scheduling.
Walk Through
Project Consultant goes out to your home to gather information, preliminary measurements and notes for your estimate. In no more than a week, the Project Consultant will email the estimate over and request an in office meeting with you.
In Office Meeting & Sign Off
You'll come in person to meet with your Project Consultant in the Shaw Design Center to review your estimate details. Financing options will be discussed as well. When you decide to move forward, you'll sign the contract and this will set the process in motion.
Materials Selection
Once we have received a signature and initial deposit, then a selection meeting is scheduled. This is where you will work directly with our in-house designer who will walk you step by step through selecting materials while staying on budget. You can give us your own vision, or we will help you design one together. You will be able to see material samples right from our showroom.
Pre-construction
The pre-construction meeting takes place in your home. Your Project Consultant will introduce you to your assigned supervisor who will go over details of the job as well as take final measurements.
Pre-job
Our team orders materials and coordinates with you on a start date.
Active Project
When the job starts, you will work primarily with the supervisor and your Project Coordinator. Our Quality Control Manager may also stop by from time to time.
Final Inspection & Walkthrough
When the project is complete, you will do a walk through with your supervisor to verify that every aspect meets our standards and ensure all items are completed to your satisfaction.
