Surfaces There are some bold choices in this space that work well together. The mosaic tile backsplash, the striking graphic style countertops combined with the black. Even the white tile backsplash catches the eye with it’s glossy finish and textured look.

Cabinets Custom shaker style cabinets create this classic yet modern look. The most custom portion of this kitchen is the hidden bread boards that slide out from the island. Our client is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and wanted these specifically for bread making.
Another beautiful detail is the built-in book shelf at the end of the island.

Flooring
Instead of mimicking the dark wood in the rest of the house, the owners specifically requested that this area have lighter colors. Their original kitchen was very dark and had limited natural light coming through. These grey floors tie into the grey walls throughout the rest of the home.

Winners of our Best of 2025 Competition

Last year we kicked off a new annual event we call “Best of [Year]” for all the beautiful remodels we did that year to have a moment in the spotlight. We break the projects up into categories (with new categories coming this year!) and let the public vote on their favorites. Our clients have a lot of fun and enjoyed showing off their remodeled homes.
