Warm tones set off with gold and neutrals create an inviting space for this family of four. Not only is their kitchen now one cohesive space (see before pics below) but they have a hidden butler pantry and better flow with the rest of the home.Â
Cabinets
Custom cabinetry is vital to a new kitchen design if you are changing a layout especially. Matching the cabinet style in the island, bottom and top cabinets as well as the vent hood.Â
Flooring
There are several options that could have worked in this kitchen but the soft neutral grey tones actually helped balance the warm wood and white cabinets.

- This kitchen was originally an awkward L shape with a stove range built into the kitchen island. There was no visual from the kitchen to the dining and living rooms. We shifted the kitchen over by knocking down the corner pantry, and creating a butler pantry and hallway-access closet in the ‘awkward’ space.Â
