This Woods of Shavano remodel brought together a brighter kitchen, better storage and more useful connections between the spaces the homeowners use every day.
Built for the details
This kitchen was expanded on the side where the refrigerator is. With this bigger space, we wanted to keep it feeling light and open with the grey, blue and white palette. The dark wood look floor installed throughout the first floor of the whole really anchored it together.
Materials, lighting and storage were considered together so the finished kitchen feels cohesive rather than like a collection of individual upgrades.
Made to disappear into the room.
Good functionality should feel obvious once you live with it. Storage, work zones and custom details were integrated into the overall design instead of added as an afterthought.
